Sandy Cohen is a health writer, coach and educator on a mission to make wellness more practical and accessible.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sandy has been a journalist here for more than 20 years. A former national writer with The Associated Press covering entertainment, her work has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, and hundreds of newspapers and websites around the world.

Now covering health and wellness, Sandy was the mental health columnist for Shondaland.com and has contributed wellness stories to UCLA Health and the Los Angeles Times.

Sandy holds a master’s degree in public health, is a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach and certified mindfulness meditation teacher. She hosts the podcast “Inner Peace to Go” and is working on her first book.

As fascinated by the science of the mind as by the thrilling and challenging experience of being human, Sandy believes in harnessing the power of the mind and the mystery of consciousness to create lives filled with joy, peace and meaning.
